John Jones was appointed Deacon of the Piney Creek Church on Harney Rd. in Frederick Co., MD. John JONES, Sr. and his wife, Hannah (CRAPSTER)JONES, are both buried in Piney Creek Church Cemetery. Their children (and their spouses) were: Abraham Sr., b. 1777, m. Charity STANSBURY; John Jr., b. 1780, m. Elizabeth HARRIS; William Sr., B. 1782, m. Mary GALT; Esther, b. 1785, m. Henrick "Henry" BARRICK & Benjamin NELSON; Abigail, b. 1785, m. Capt. George RINER; Raphael, b. 1788, m. Phoebe Philippina BARRICK & her sister, Catherine BARRICK; Thomas, b. 1792, m.
