In his will he states that certain sums are to be paid to “Wymond Bradburye of Wicken Bonnant gent.” because they were owed to “Frauncis Gill” ... “Wymond Bradurye aforesaid gent. by occasion of his marriage with my daughter Elizabeth the late wife and widow of the saied Frauncis Gill deceased” Marshall K. Kirk reviewed infromation relating to William Whitgift’s uncle, an Archbishop of Canterbury, and identified several pieces of information suggesting links to various families. He pieces these bits into a probable descent from Edward I through Anne Dynewell. [3, 4]
