Death Note |
Twice a widow, Mary Wells Stockett Yate, wrote her Will 14 Jan 1698/9: To son, Thomas Stockett, a black walnut box engraved with his father's coat-of-arms and "The Range." The remainder of the children were Frances, wife of Mareen Duvall, Eliza., wife of Thomas Plummer, and Ann Yate, with the "Vale of Benjamin" (surveyed 29 Oct 1670 for Benjamin Wells) to be sold for the benefit of sons, George and John Yate. She mentions grandchildren, but not by name. Her witnesses were Joseph Hayslap, Thomas Hill and William Bailey. It is thought that by Thomas Stockett, Mary had a third daughter, Mary, wife of Mark Richardson, who did not survive her. (see also ) [2, 3] |
