In his will dated 25 Dec. 1717, Thomas Lull stated:

Item: I give unto my son John Lull ye sole use and Improvement of my houses and lands I bought of Jonathan Wheeler scittuate in ye Township of Rowly, dureing ye time of his natural Life And adter his decese I give Sd house and land in Rowly I bough of sd Wheeler unto my grandson, Thomas Lull, Son of my sd Jn Lull, to him & to his Heirs and Assignes for ever, upon which consideration I obblidge my sd Grandson Thomas Lull to ehlp his Father twenty dayes in a year in plowing & Mowing, and annually for twenty yeares running if my sd son John should live so long, and to give bond of sixty pounds to his father binding himself, his Heires, Executors, Administr and assignes for ye performance thereof. Note that Thomas married for the second time when he was 68 years old.
